Wierd engine stamp, what does it mean ?

I like the reject bit - very funny. it's nothing of any consequence. My opinion is that is something to do with the cast mould for the block part so that hey can identify the mould if the cast goes wrong or turns porous.
Certainly has no relevance for parts or spec.

take the heads off and have a look is the easy way, if your buying one then there is some cross hatching on the block.. hard to explain.
