who's there?

notmy!

not my who?

not my scooby.

got delta dash logs done a few days ago, obervations were........
basically a stock my00 with decat, charge cooler, 1.05 bar boost...
there was no knock correction what so ever, first impression from the local ecutek mapper was that the oe knock sesor is faulty. with the crap fuel we get here, marked 97 oct but in reality 95.5-96 octane, there ought to be some knock correction. anyway, it was only after we tried to make the engine knock that it showed some correction. 5th gear, full load (steep hill), 2.5k rpm wot to 6k. only then it showed 1 deg correction at +/- 3500 rpm. either it's just the favourable conditions (winter ambient +/-15 dec c), or that charge cooler really works, or both????

afr/o2 sensor voltage is pretty much consistent with the factory setting, a bit rich though, nice to see that it also corresponds to readings on the apex'i t/t. i think i need a ecu tek remap or s-afc in the near future. fuel pump duty cycle max'ed at about 74%. that's alright right?

defi boost gauge and blitz sbc s built in boost gauge, both over reads. while the ecu registered about 1.05 bar, they recorded 1.1 and 1.08 respectively. is this common?

comments are greatly appreciated.

forgot to add,

my timing was a bit retarted, after resetting the ecu, it advanced back to +/- norm. could bad fuel cause this? on a recent trip "inland" i did run about 2 tanks of 93 oct while travelling non-stop.
