Warning Light?

Went round a roundabout today and a light flashed up, it had some lettering on but as I turned the wheel it blocked my sight. The light was directly underneath my temp gauge, anyone know what this is. Took it for a 10 minute spirited drive afterward with a few long and tight roundabouts but the light did not come back on.
