first off you want to do the [downpipe] this will give the best performance results... up pipe is only needed for bigger BHP cars or if your standard one knackers up..!!

If you want a full decat then you will need to change the DownPipe (DP). Various companies do them, do a search and you will get some idea of the ones to go for.

Have you heard a full decat before? They can get quite noisy Just decide whether you can live with the noise before you get a DP. Also the police in some areas seem to be clamping down on noisy cars.

But if you do get it, you will love it

Up-pipe only worth changing if either your original breaks (can happen), or you're changing the manifold to a tubular and at the same time getting a ported turbo. Typically the aftermarket up-pipes have a greater diameter than the turbo entry, which could play merry hell with airflow, but inoring that bit, the additional diameter slows airflow down which will raise the spool point. You really need to be making some seriosly large horsepower to need the change (on pre-fuglies amyway ) - 400bhp appears to be not that much of a problem with the standard up-pipe & headers, given kit to match...
