Rally Designs. Powerap, part number RAP004. I've not applied it yet, so no firsthand experience yet. Value will depend on which section of the exhaust you're applying it to. The further back in the system, the less it will need lagging.

Question

What advantages does fitting the lagging have ?

Is it there to stop too much heat escaping into the engine bay etc or is there something else less obvious ?

Scratch,

If I have this correct (and please don't quote me) I think it is to do with the fact that hot gas flows better than cold, also as gas cools it 'contracts' therefore where the uppipe is concerned the hotter the gas hitting the turbo, the better....as I said just my edukayted gess

Better flow due to hotter gases, less noise and heat emission from your exhaust. Cheap "modification" that worthwhile!
