l'm changing the drive shafts on my legacy (front)and need to know which way the nuts on the drive shaft end turn are either of them left hand thread or are they all right handed,also are the driveshafts on the uk spec legacy the same as on the jap spec rs(both are early 89/91 types)

All the same on subarus. Anti-clockwise: Open and Clockwise: close.....
Use a decent sized punch for the pins !

once the nut is off is there anything else holding the drive shaft in to the upright as l still cant get the shaft out of the upright.
