Question

I've just measured the voltages on my lambda sensor on the wire going into the ecu which ih also connected to my afr meter,

I'm getting 6.2volts on tickover and if i rev it up
but if i rev it and hold it at 3500 rpm it slowly drops down to 0.6 volts or there abouts but as soon as i release the throttle it shoots back up to 6.2 volts , i get 6.2 volts as soon as i turn the ignition on, the reason for checking this is my afr was showing rich all the time when driving when hot or cold.

Does this mean my lambda sensor is knackered.
any help greatly appreciated,

Matt.

your afr should show rich when on Wide open throttle, if it doesnt then something is definatly wrong

You really need to test the voltages when driving the car on WOT

Or get someone with Delta Dash to take a look

voltage should be above 0.9 when on full throttle

the rich lamp on the afr is on all the time wide open throttle, tickover , cruising all the time, that's why i checked the voltages and found them way over 1 volt all the time except when you hold the revs at 3500 constantly, it seems to me that the lambda sensors not sending back info quick enough or perhaps the maf is dodgy

hmm a bit strange, might be better with Select Monitor or Delta Dash, it could be the wiring on the AFR too tho

Brun, after a turn of fate yesterday, I actually ended up in Castleford, albeit briefly

However all being well I should be up there on Thursday day, and possible late afternoonearly evening
