Folks, I was thinking of removing the resonator box in the front wing of my UK Turbo (98my). I currently have an ITG panel filter in the standard box, full de-cat and have ordered a dawes.
Has anyone any views on this ? (Obviously I'll have to re-route the air picking to collect fresh air from the front of the car directly to the airbox)
Cheers,
Mark

i removed mine (which is easy) and fitted a cold air feed from the drivers side wedge in the bumper to my induction kit, but i don`t see any reason why you can`t run in a cold air feed and connect it to your air box where the resonator used to connect to it.

In actuality none of these holes feed the brakes, they're all for show (unless you fabricate your own ducting behind them)!

GM, sorry mate, but mine's got a duct - you can feel inside it through the front and see it from inside the wheel arch. It comes out quite some way in front of the wheel, but its certainly there....
I'll try and remember to take a piccy tomorrow...

I removed my resonator box ages ago on mine.Linked the air box directly up to a cold feed pipe and so far have had no problems....at least it is getting cold air and not stale (warmer) air from inside the wheel arch.
