Hi,
After fitting the new turbo to my GT'99 I also changed the injectors (actually i put in the whole intake manifold from WRX and pink STi injectors - supposed to be 550s) in place of my original manifold with yellow ones (440s, but the Australian guy says it may be 480s).
After that we changed the proper parameter in the software but soon discovered that the car is running damn lean. After changing the parameter back afr is perfect again - it looks like the pink injectors have similar flow to the yellow ones.
What can be the problem (and more importantly the solution)?

The problem is that the pink injectors are not much different to the yellow ones as you say. STi injectors are 503 but to make a big difference you need 650cc ones.

Thanks Bob,
Howcome all US sellers claim they are 550s or 565s?
I am getting a FPR tomorrow and plan to raise fuel pressure - should this help?
I have a better fuel pump, but still only in-tank one.

Try setting the fuel pressure to about 3.2 bar hot idle vaccuum pipe connected and see how that is.

So we checked the flow of the pump (it was good) and than the standard pressure (it was 2.8 bar at idle) than set the new FPR to 3.2 bar and the damn car was running leaner. Only when set to 3.8 bar it reached the original level. It is a weber fpr, up to six bar. Frankly speaking I don't know what next. Any ideas are more than welcome.

Marcin
