Got one of these fitted on my MY02 WRX to complete the TSL exhaust last week . The car is now running GroupN backbox (twinpipe), centre decat and the Sports cat downpipe.

It's made a truly awesome difference - overall noise levels haven't increased that much (already pretty loud) apart from on full boost, but there is sooooo much more power available, from lower down the rev range all the way to redline

***anyone who was thinking of getting a DP but was concerned either about emissions/MOT/roadside checks, consider getting one of these!! ***

Apparently it flows as well as a full decat .....

cheers
DaveR

remap next methinks!

i mentioned this somewhere else but i was told that the downpipe would bugger the air flow meter?

Does this sports-cat work around that problem.

what bhp will this push your wrx up to now dave?

...hope you enjoy it spyr0, you'll certainly feel the difference
I haven't had my car rolling-roaded, but would make a guess at 245bhp with the full system?

maybe someone else can enlighten me .....

This has to be the next thing I do to mine, did they advice you not to change the up pipe, and how much did it set up back fitted

... bye bye warranty hello downpipe

I was thinking I would get mine wrapped to quiet it down abit as I already have centre and firestore what u reckon?

Jsa: I have heard bad things about the Graham goode exhaust do you know any one with it fitted, I had the fire storm fitted at TSL and I know these guys are good and wouldn't sell crap, but saying this I see tsl are now doing ecu tek, when I was last in they were saying that this was a bad idea as subaru was taking them to court... how things change

on the noise question, it all depends how much you can take!! the DP will make the noise louder, but not a hell of a lot. I'm happy with mine unwrapped, but then again I am only running a GrpN backbox, not a Firestorm!!

I had also heard of the Graham Goode DP - but wanted my whole exhaust from turbo back to be from the same company, for warranty, compatibility and design reasons - hence my choice of TSL as the stuff they do is always quality
