I've decided I'm going to run my Sti-V with Optimax plus octane Booster, I picked up a can of Silkolene Pro Boost and it has the recommened dose on the side and goes from 1%-3%, if I opt for an increase of say 2% then that should bring me up to 100.

I just filled the car up and it took 50 litres, on the side of the can next to 2% it says 20 ml/litre, if this is correct then I will need one litre of this stuff for every 50 litre of Optimax, can some one please clarify this as I don't want to get it wrong.

This was no cheap either, so any suggestions on another brand which works out cheaper.

Cheers

don't know much about Pro Boost, but i use NF Race.

more info. here

i normally put in 80ml to 40 litres of Optimax.

works out much cheaper than the Silkolene stuff

Has had lots of good reviews (do a search , and have a read up)

I use proboost 10ml = 1% upto 30 ml = 3%; thats the official recommended dosage.

I always lug in half a can for normal road & a whole can for track use....
