Just removed the turbo to remove the up-pipe. Have re-assembled it all but wondered if I have to do anything special to the coolant system as it lost a bit when I took the feed pipes to the turbo off. Last place I want an airlock is somewhere that hot.

Any other gotchas I should know about from someone whos done that job successfully?

Cheers

Andy

P.S. Talk about limited access! Replacing an up-pipe is a tart of a job.

Thumbs up

That really is succinct! Thanks Pavlo, I'll just get on with it then.

Cheers

Am about to do a turbo swap and saw some advice on a US website.
Top up the expansion bottle then take off pressure cap, run engine from cold and top up at the little tank where the cap is.
Also to crank but not fire the engine to get oil round the turbo bearing so it doesn't get loaded up with no oil feed.
