Is there any difference in internals? I am interested in the max. RPM I can use the STi UK (MY03) engine safely.

The UK and JDM MY03's are very different (UK is an'8, the JDM a '9), not only in internals but fuel system as well. I would not run a std UK car past its normal rev limit, once engine uprated though the short gearing is ideal to take it to 8/8.2K.

Is there any difference in internals between MY02 UK and MY02 JDM (RA)?

What's the weak point in a UK STi for reving to 8k? Is it the valvetrain or (and) pistons / conrods?

The earlier GDB Sti's have same internals for Euro and JDM both engines being EJ207's. There are no separate parts listed for each of these.
