Anyone know about Cobb Tuning?
#1
Hello guys.
I'm not a Scooby owner, but a buddy of mine is. He has a 2002my bugeye US spec WRX, and lives in the US (a very hot part). He is looking for some more grunt from the motor, so is thinking about tuning.
He has asked me what I think of
http://cobbtuning.com/wrx/powerpackage1.html
As I have no idea about Scoobys, as at the moment I'm driving Golf's (not even cool Golf's, but a MkIV V5 and a MkIIIGti). I know this is a thought I would ask for your opinions.
Are there any well know tuners in the US?
Has anyone dealt with Cobb?
Thanks
Ade

cobb's very reputable. they're the only tuner of the big three (cobb, vishnu, turboxs) in the us to do their own reverse-engineering of the ecu, which gets them out of paying licencing fees to ecutec.
