Currently on my P1 I have the standard STI exhaust and i would like to upgrade the backbox as it is a little quite for me. The only problem i have is that the insurance company wants an extra £200 on my premium if i change to a free flow S/S box. However as the P1 upgrade back box was a optional extra i can change to this back box for no extra cost. Would you recomend changing to this back box and would it make any differance in noise level as i would like to release more of the flat 4 rumble.

well i brought my p1 with the WR back box and to be honest , it sounds quite standard....i ran a mongoose system on my 97 uk turbo and it sounded better without being too loud...and a magnex too..which sounded similar but with better build quality......then i got a blitz nur spec........

Iv'e got the prodrive b box the one with P1 stamped on it. not too loud but better than standard. whereabouts are you?

no sorry, but if you were nearer you could have had a listen. are you going to trax there will be plenty of P1's there.
