just got back from a long drive and moved gear stick side to side and when i moved it right it made a slight noise like somthing clicking is it that the gear oil is hot as i have not noticed it before my98 no problem with gears just that noise i will try it later when it's cooled down and see if it does it then

 

hello just had a check and it still does it it may have allways done it just noticed could anyone tell me if there car does it in neutral move gear stick side to side and it clicks when moved to the right maybe it just does it when it is finds the centre could someone try there's and let me know cheers you know how things bug you when you first notice them
