Water spray
#1
Been doing alot of research on the V5 STI since putting down the deposit & remember reading that it was recommended that the water spray was fitted if the car was going to have hard use.
Would this be true even if the boost was left at standard ?
The only mods planned for now is a down pipe + full exhaust, the car already has an up pipe & K&N induction kit fitted.
Also i know i'll have to use octane booster, had a GTI-R & put the booster in every 3 tanks of Optimax, will this be the same for the STI ??
Cheers

If you're looking at a type R/RA, it will have I/C water spray as standard. It's normally water injection that's recommended if you're going to raise boost/do a lot of track work.
As for booster, you should put in a measured amount every tank, not every two or three!

How much of a measured amount ? a bottle ??
It's not a type R/RA just a STI version 5 so wont need the water injection then because i'm not planning any track days

Each Manufacturer has different measures, it is best to read the label of the chosen container, for example.. you add half a can of proboost to each tank but you wouldnt need to add half a conatiner of NF
