Ladies and Gents

I posted a little while back with over boosting problems.

Tek 2.5, full SS decat, itg panel, and was hitting 1.5, and fuel cut twice.

JB advised larger olive hole, which I took up from the 1.3 it was, to 1.4. No difference, and of course I didnt have a 1.5 mm drill bit, and used a 1.6, cleaned the boost solenoid at the same time.

And yup you guessed it, I now have the boost of an electric wheel chair. Peeks at 1, holds at .8

So theres a few things I would like to know.
Firstly does anyone have a 1.5 mm drilled olive laying around that maybe they could send me.
Secondly If I buy a dawes device, would this replace the olive, or does the olive remain, and if it does stay in, would having a 1.6 mm hole matter.

Fitting a dawes device will bypass the olive and solenoid.

 

had the same boost problems with mine,fitted a dawes,problems gone!
