Hi gang hoping someone here can give some advice.

Had my my99 uk turbo 2 months or so now ish, every now and then putting the gear lever into reverse dont wanna know. pump the clutch the try again, its a little tempremental *spelling* other wise smooth on the way through up and down.

Is this something I should have looked at now or is it a well known problem with these cars?

Also to fix? costly?

Cool

Common problem....

Along with difficulty engaging 5th when over 110mph ish due to weak synchro

Coupled with tendancy for garages to used 3.5litres (as recoomended in manual i think from memory) as opposed to 4.0 litres. This then just splashes 3rd gear on UK cars as opposed to bathing it ... then you need a new gearbox like wot I did

Have fun

Not always easy to do I agree.

As well as pumping the clutch, try putting it in another gear too....
