Cool

I have a knocking sound coming from my rear drivers side suspension area. It does'nt appear when driving, only on accel/decel. If I slightly just lift the clutch from stand still I can hear a clunk, which to me suggests the rear drive shaft. What actually causes a knackered drive shaft to clunk?

Cheers,

Craig.

Cool

hendy,

Yeah I thought that at first, but when I removed the wheel and got under the car I couldn't see any obvious problems with them. Still keeping an open mind. Any other ideas?

Craig.

i had 2 shot drive shafts (front though), the noise was like metal flicking hard on metal. Scoobysport diagnosed and fixed the problem.
