You will have to excuse my basic knowledge of cars (only 15) I believe that a dump valve is the thing on cars which make the decent (whushhhhh) sound when you change gear? (Hope I am right)

Anyway does anybody have them on their scoob and what other difference does it make?

 

you got in one

the whoosh sound is air venting straight out and helps the turbo maintain high revs thus reducing lag

i ain't gonna get more techy than this (as i will prob get flamed )

 

On that note whats the best one for my MY95???

 

never used one (yet)

have a look in General Technical there are several views on the subject ie

is is good or bad to even fit one

 

Reading the threads I understand that the engine runs rich when dumping..... is this always the case??? I really want that pttshh
