Dump Valves
#1
I am looking at getting 1 of 2 dump valves for my 03 wrx, but am unsure which is best. I like the forge and bailey dv12, anyone got any ideas on noise levels or which is best??? Any help would be great thanx

hay some friendley advice, although the u.k made dump valves are light weight and relativley cheap.they are not half as good as Bov's (blow of valves) made by the likes of Hks,blitz,Greedy.
dont buy one that uses a kevlar diaphram as this can split over time and if you are running high boost.
i am going to get a Hks sequential blow off valve .for the following reasons
1.it can be adjusted depending on how much boost you are running
2.it looks like a work of art
3.it's the best Engineered BOV on the market
4.the sounds it makes are far better than any other one i have heard
go to www.blowoffvalves.com as you can hear the different sounds that Bovs make and their is a very good explaination of why the hks bov is the best

The internal parts in 95% of the BOVs made are the same twin piston , twin spring , with maybe a screw adjuster , the real difference is the price , cast bodies are more expensive .
The UK valves that you have mentioned are good alternatives
