Right one minute i'm getting none & the next i'm getting 3
45 - Pressure Sensor
21 - Coolant temp sensor
31 - Throttle position sensor
Please tell me I haven't got to do anything drastic
If I have try & break it to me gently

I believe David is suggesting you check the condition of the earth straps from negative battery terminal to the top nut of the starter motor (under the intercooler) and to the body work etc..
Remove and clean etc..
The sensors read from ground so if the ground is floating about a bit due to a broken wire or dirty connection the sensors will go out of the tolerance the ECU monitors.. hence the error codes..

The pressure sensor and throttle position sensors are quite easy fixes if it's not the grounding problem. Not done a coolant sensor before.
If they don't go away, I'll type up some instructions.

Agreed the pressure and TPS sensors are a piece of cake to check.
The coolant sensor is also no prob
Only have to drain the coolant header tank and move the alternator outta the way to get in. If u dont drain the header tank it`ll drain through the hole when u take the sensor out.
Easy to check the sensor, put a meter on it reading ohms when the engine in warm, then do the same again when cold and the resistance will have changed proportionately.
Alternatively remove the sensor and take a resistance reading, then stick it in some hot water or ice cubes, keeping the meter on the sensor u will see a fall / rise in resistance.
BTW if u need the resistance values to check the sensors lemme know, I`ve got them in my notes somewhere

I think I figured it out. My header tank had ruptured & had spewed coolant & water everywhere including the MAF sensor. This could have caused it to go doolally because after an ECU reset, a spare header tank & a bit of a clean, there are no more codes
As an added bonus the car is running a little richer so that the minor knocking I was getting at the top end has gone...sorted
