Unhappy

I fitted it this morning, took it for a blast, returned, lifted the bonnet to have a look and saw that the screw from the left bonnet vent had pierced the filter...

Is this dangerous - can I fix it? - its not too bad I guess, but does spoil the look and will do nothing for selling the thing on...

also, trim down the screw, so it doesn't happen again.

I had to remove the right side, front right screw (head on) as it started to rub on my pace fmic

On the K&N the big hole which lets the air out is not in the middle of the base plate, you should be able to rotate the whole filter to make it sit further away from the bonnet.

I hope this make sense.
