Think i saw a thread on here talking about that sort of thing yesterday ......The guy from Prodrive said there was no gain to be had and infact it decreased power.
I might have got the wrong end of the stick though

The cat in the centre pipe is removed already if you have a PPP.

Hey Mike how important is the uprated fuel pump on the PPP car? Mine doesnt have PPP but it has a Trust exhaust, would you recommend an uprated pump as well?

Changing the pump certainly isn't going to hurt! Depends how uncontrolled the boost is now with the different exhaust and whether the ECU is taking itself into an area of the map that the pump can't support. You won't know for sure until it's too late.

So, my next question would be. What other tweaks other than ppp could I apply to the STi 8

What other tweaks could you apply? Full exhaust with or without sports cat. Induction kit. Front Mounted intercooler. Bigger turbo. Uprated fuel pump, regulator and injectors. Very long list, depends really on what you want to achieve, and that's just in the engine department. When doing almost any of these mods, it is worth getting the ECU re-mapped, eg Ecutek.

IIRC Dave (mccltd) had ~330bhp out of his STi7 with a full exhaust and ecutek remap. Then he sold it and got an M3.

You are out of luck for engine mods after PPP to keep the warranty - generally anything other than prodrive mods will invalidate warranty, although you'll probably get away with small mods like new wheels or stereo upgrade. Don't think they've released prodrive brake or suspension upgrades for the 8 yet, but I may be completely wrong there.
