can any one help me?
I have got a 1995 wrx sti2.Problem is I have got gearbox oil coming out of my speedo cable joint! small traces of oil is going right up to speedo head aswell! anyone got any ideas? I have tried replacing rubber seal at bottom of speedo cable!

 

Is your gearbox too full? I would have thought you would have that much pressure in the box to do that once you have replaced the seal, unless the speed sensor in broken.

Are you sure it is gearbox oil? maybe someone has lubricated the cable.
