hi everybody.
in the forum there were many chats about filters but seems to me all experiences are based on personal opinions which are vary from "my car feels much stronger" to "it suck air so loud". So id like to ask if any serious tuners who test their cars on dyno may confirm what filters (like hks or k&n)actually do for car. As i personally understand if your car is standart then only changing filter do almost nothing and only if you upgrade your car than filters worth. There is that upgrade level which asks for filter? If i installed full catless exhaust shall i put a filter?

I just stick with the STI filter.

Its safe and does the job. plenty of air can be pulled through for the 300bhp they are specified at in Japan. Thats good enough for me as the boys at STI are the real experts

ok if sti is good for 300 hp than what std filter is good for? and what upgrade is good for induction kits like hks, k&n and others. But the main question is - do inductions give any gain over stock filter on stardart car?
