Just fitted an Afterburner exhaust system to my 93WRX. This ties in with a scoobysport down-pipe and up-pipe.

This system sounds absolutely amazing. You can get a soundbite of this on Scoobyworld but that didnt prepare me for ignition. I cant stop grinning

Its sounds great on both idle and under acceleration giving that amazing burbling flat four sound. On changing down the gears you can hear the odd pop, bang or crackling.

I'm a modest guy and this is an exhaust that i'm going to have to get used to but my god do i think its great. This is going to be funny sitting in rush hour traffic tomorrow morningbring it on

Cool

lol, you mean you get a rush hour in Scotland

Come for a break and enjoy an all day long rush hour going round the M25

What backbox did you have on before?

Yeah, the Afterburner's great isn't it?! I fitted the backbox and centre on Tuesday, and it's transformed the sound of the car. Got a de-cat d/p coming soon too, for the full crackle-pop sound effects...

Used to have an original exhaust from down-pipe back.

I know our traffic cant compare to London but i tell you what - ask anybody who commutes into Edinburgh from the West. Its becoming less of a pretty site.

Cool

Fitted mine last night too. Had a Prodrive backbox before but it was just too civilised - only sounded good on WOT. Now with the Afterburner it sounds good ALL the time . Everything from turning the key to idling to flooring it takes on a whole new meaning! . Now instead of people looking at my car, they STARE . I'm normally a quiet, shy retiring type, but you gotta love the noise of it .
I can't recommend the excellent service from Scoobyworld enough - thanks NeilT for the rapid response to all my pre-purchase queries.
And no I have no connection with them etc.

Cool

Forgot to add that the wife phoned me up at work this morning to say that the house shook when I started up this morning. Which was nice.
