UK300 parts fitting on a 94 Impreza?
#1
Managed to get my mits on some UK300 parts, I've blagged the turbo, chip, wheels, brakes, does anyone know if the turbo will fit straight onto the 94 model? & if the chip will be compatable without turning my internals to toast? Or if there may be any compatability problems with the parts?

UK300 as in V7 model impreza???
Turbo will not fit easily, and would probably not be much better ( if any ) than the TD05 anyway.
Chip ?? or ECU are totally different and in no way swappable.
Wheels and brakes will swap.

Interesting, so the ECU wont fit in at all eh? At the moment my turbo kicks in at 3000rpm a little birdie told me that the UK300s hav progressive turbos does that mean they kick in at 0rpm??? Definatly try & get the wheels + brakes on!

The ECU will not plug straight in as it has a differand number of connectors! Though I doubt it would run very well (if you could get it to run at all) if you rewired the loom.
The turbo is a straight entry (type fitted to all Imprezas after 1996/7 (my97). Yours has a 90deg bend on the inlet so it won't bolt directly in, though the engine can be modified to take the turbo Though I don't know what gains you would get over the std turbo. The TD05 you already have is a good turbo!!
