John Banks can/will but I'll warn you now that he strongly advises against VTA's on a Maf based impreza. As a side note I have a tec 2.5 and so far have heard no loud bangs, pops or the woosh of flames with my VTA and it seems no different to when I had the standard DV.

You can't solve the overfuelling problem because you are making an artificial leak in what should be a sealed system. The prime concern is dilution of the oil with fuel from the excessively rich mixtures that occur with VTAs. Oil lubricates bearings better than fuel
