Unhappy

I have just bought a revolution decat pipe and after taking the heatshield off the turbo to oil up the bolts to remove cat I noticed that exhaust seems to be blowing from somewhere.

I have ruled out from cat back.. Cat is still ok no sign of corrosion or holes same with exhaust as this is a new system and is sealed correctly.
After inspecting further cant find out exactly where but seems to be coming from header pipes... (Coming out of front of turbo going under radiator) have checked all pipes and no sign of holes or corrosion.. Has anyone experienced probs with these? Or is is just me being paranoid? Car is WRX Import and no real loss of power noticed.
If these pipes were leaking at some point would loss of power be noticeable?? (Would imagine so!)
Also could it just be gaskets where leaking from?

Any help appreciated

Could be the up-pipe that is blowing, its a common problem on WRX's i think..!!!

The up-pipe usually splits, but its nearer the turbo than where you mentioned..

would guess at it being the up pipe as same thing happened on my 93 wrx, they are quite prone to splitting as dan said, best thing to do it take it off and have a look, b1tch of a job though, harder than the downpipe !!!

if its gone then get a new one from H&S or similar, cost about 100 and much better than the standard ones

After having a proper look at up pipe to turbo there is no split or crack any sign of corrosion..
It seems that leak is coming from where gasket is

Can gaskets only be purchased??
Or do you get new gaskets with up pipe?

Are the gaskets prone to going??

There doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the up pipe itself..

Anyone done this job themselves pics appreciated!!!!

Also is it possible to uprate gasket???
