Now I have my SECS fitted I have a reading that doesnt make too much sense to me..........

As far as I am aware the max a Injector can run is something like 20m/s. If it is running at that then effectively its flat out?? Am I right so far??

Anyway , I have been monitoring my readings and on full load/boost the maximum reading I get is 17.5-18, which I guess indicates that I am getting up to the limit on the injectors but nothing too serious at the current level of tune.... Again am I right here???

Regards
Rob

Question

I dont have a secs monitor but it could be that your fuel pump is running flat out and your injector duty cycle has to be raised to get adequate fuelling.

Not following what you are saying mate (Sorry not the most technical bunny around!!!!)

Are you saying that a peak reading of 17-18ms on full boost is dangerous???
And also that the fuel pump is therefore borderline?

The time in milliseconds isn't meaningful without the revs too - an injector only has half the time to open/close at 6k compared to 3k.

There's a nice formular to turn msecs into %, but I can't remember it - check out the help on ecutek.
