Dunno if it's a problem but when the engines idling whilst cold, the oil pressure gauge flickers between about 6-7 KG/CM2. I can't recall this happening when I bought the car. Last time I checked the dip-stick there seemed to be plenty of oil. I'll check again tomorrow though.
On idle whilst hot I get 2-3 KG/CM2 and it holds steady at 6KG/CM2 off idle whilst hot.

My Defi gauges flicker when idling, its natural
BTW what oil are you running as when cold my gauge reads 8 and when warm it wont drop below 3 (running Mobil1 15w50 fully synthetic) so i seem to have more oil pressure but probably due to running a thicker oil

Tony,
I was just trying to find out what oil last night. It should be Shell-Helix-'something synthetic' 10W40. Truth is I don't know.
The car's going into the garage next week for a checkup and to answer a few questions.
It's got a service in June though so I'll endeavour to find out then.
Vindaloo.

Been out in the scoob 2day, she reads 7 whilst at idle cold, 6 whilst driving warm, 3 whilst idle hot.
Looks like you probably have the semi synthetic stuff in there (10w40) but if you wanted to go fully synthetic then go for either Mobil1 motorsport 15w50, Motul 300v 15w50 (next service for me ) or Castrol RS 10w60.
