How much do I use in order to raise fuel by, say, 2 RON? I'll be using Optimax, and the car's a UK MY00 Turbo.

It's for track day "just in case" use.

By the way - this isn't a "should I use it?" thread. I've got the stuff, I just need to know how much to use.

Cheers!

Pro Boost Octane Improver is specifically designed to combat pre ignition and improve acce;eration. It also assists throttle response and cold starting.

Pro Boost has a "keep clean effect" in both carbrettor and injection systems and will help reduce ice carbing. Fully compatible with all petrol engines and does not attack fuel hoses or filters.

Also catalytic converter compatible.....

Pro Boost Recommendations

% ml/lite
1 10
1.5 15
2 20
2.5 25
3 30

Personally for on road use I take half a can of pro boost per tank and on track the full can..............helps assist those with flamer kits too.....

Thanks Paul. I'll try 1 litre in a tankful of Optimax and see how I get on.

No flamer kit, but the car's fully decatted. Being a few weeks old, it's starting get get quite coked-up and starting to pop and bang more. Perhaps my fellow drivers will get a singed bumper if they're too close behind me at Castle Combe on Monday
