Anyone Know if this IS an Impreza Engine???

The Garage fittin my new engine have told me that they dont think this is an IMPREZA Engine, possibly from a LEGACY.
Its got a Model No. of EJ20GDW2AE-67 580562 T210
The inlet manifold is too short, Plus different shaped inlets- so gaskets wont fit, throttle bodies are on opposite side, plus wiring loom connections are different.
Any Ideas??? - I'll try to get some pictures...
