Hi Lads,

Getting a boost gauge fitted tomorrow, to MY99 impreza Turbo 5 Door.

It has a full decat exhaust, and my questions are as follows.

1) What sort of boost should the car be running at in standard form?

2) I am getting a TEK2.5 fitted next week, how much will this visibly increase the boost gauge?

These are possibly awkward questions to answer, but your help, as always, is massively appreicated.

Cheers Lads

Micky

13.7 PSI midrange boost target on the standard ECU. 17.7 PSI on my postal maps, although on some cars it won't reach this boost level unless it is cold, you are in 5th gear and you are thrashing it.

If you are wildly overshooting over 14.5 on the present setup that needs to be sorted before you fit the uprated ECU or that will just overboost.
