I'm looking to enhance the sound (and maybe power) from my scoob with an exhaust upgrade.
Currently I have fitted:
Falkland performance decat downpipe.
PPP decat system from downpipe back.
Would just changing the backbox be best (bearing in mind the cost saving)? Or maybe a full swap from the downpipe back?
I don't want it to be stupidly loud (eg getting me stopped all the time), just a bit louder and more "fruity".
Approx prices (fitted) for any suggested systems would be ideal.
Cheers
Peter

Backbox is by far the biggest difference if you are only looking to change the noise. Prodrive on ei s very quiet. Listen to other people's and see what you like the sound of.

for noise and power would consider one of pats designed back boxes. made by the people who made scoobysports exhaust for years.
give him a call, or ask someone on here for a listen.
It has been tested to yeild no effect on a flow bench, and ideally on a turbo charged car you want zro back pressure, so performance wise its the one to go for.
Apprently makes a great noise too, but sadly this is so dependent on what turbo you have, it will be difficult to isolate what it will sound like.
