I am new to scooby ownership, and just wondering if anyone could tell me which exaust is the loudest available, and the same for induction kits?

Hi,

I had a 3" decat downpipe from Haywood and Scott with a Blitz NUR spec R system and HKS manifold.

I've not heard a louder Subaru and I've heard lots.

Induction kits, probably again, Blitz SUS. If your car is a 97 onwards model, if you also fit an MRT high flow inlet pipe, the car will suck in like a 50ft Dyson!

Cheers

Rich

Probably Biltz NUR spec exhaust, and something like a K&N induction kit.

Thumbs down

Clearly nobody heard my car recently *

Thankfully it's at least bareable now mind you I am getting on a bit, and want to turn up on track and not fiddle about with bungs and so on!

*3 inch 'Pat Special' or Armagedon as it should correctly titled

On the ones that i've been in in/driven over the last 3-4 years i would say outright noise must go to the BPM Twister, exceeded my own h+s downpipe and blitz, but it wasnt a particularly pleasant noise.

Secondly would be the h+s blitz combo, altogether a 'nicer' noise imo, but still a bit much for long daily use like my old 150 mile commute each day - no wonder im deaf!

Would be VERY interested to hear a pat special..... anyone nearby running one?

Tim Don't forget I've got few things to make it louder...like the manifold and turbo that's a little bit bigger than your'n

With someoneelse driving it last night when it went past me all I heard was the turbo and wastegate which on boost are quite noisey But going throught the tunnel...OMFG windows up, dropped back just to stop FEELING the damn thing shake the earth from the drivers seat of my Focus

Still, I think it might be a little quieter than the HKS Hiper I had before (please god tell me it is!)

PT, when I'm down in Kent next I'll let you know, car lives there, but I don't...

I agree with the first lot. H&S downpipe and Blitz Nur Spec R. It is VERY loud with the bung out. At a rolling road in Feb i was around 118db

Edited to say no one was near me. i have heard loads of different ones from HKS, afterburner, firestorm and no one is close.

I have some Jap spec zorst on mine with what looks like a bike can on the end, no name anywhere but I challenge anybody in the noise stakes.

It's okay at trot but at canter it's loud and at gallop you are just warning everyone ahead that you are coming.

I Fancy putting my original back on actually.
