Ive been looking at getting a new clutch fitted, mines just got a noisey bearing nothing wrong with the clutch
I got some prices and most are around £300 so i tried friction linings (Bournemouth) they gave me one price £286+ vat 2Yr warranty and a Borg and Beck which was £131+ vat 3Yr warranty complete kit

So i was wandering if anyone knows if the Borg & Beck clutch is ok in a Uk My94 Turbo ive used these clutches in the past and had no problems just sounds too cheap

Thx
Tim

Hi Tim, David from APi Engines here, We use Borg & Beck all the time in our fit jobs although they only seem to do the smaller 224 mm version and we use Sachs for the larger 230mm version. Never had a problem, they fit fine and my customers all seem grateful for the sensible price of the job compared to Subaru prices.

Good Luck David

Ive got a borg and beck at the minute. Best standard clutch ive had. Lasted me the longest as well. Car does a few 1/4 mile days etc so does get a lot of stick.

Not had a problem with my borg and beck either. For the money it costs, and the guarantee, you can't really go too far wrong.

I've just had a borg and beck fitted, no problems whatsoever. Absolute bargain for the price I got it for aswell. You can get them for £86 inc vat and delievery here:

http://www.http://www.autospares-group.com

I paid £150 to get it fitted.
