NAPA is fine if you have a friend in the US who can accept the order & then pass it on - they won't even deliver to PO Boxes within the States for a forwarding service (usually a very handy thing to have!).
I'm also not convinced that they have any - they say they do, but I've heard recently people saying that they order one, then after a week receive an email stating they don't have any in but will in a few days, followed by silence...
Allegedly Honda has restricted the distribution of them to Honda only; they can do this as the probe was developed by Honda & NTK jointly, unfortunately. NTK is apparently making up a new one of their own devising, but it may well not be compatible...

Might be - I'll look into it.
The UEGOs may be cheaper in Denmark? They're €180 in Switzerland, around the same in Finland, & £280 here so we may just be the 'odd ones out'.

I can get them direct from Honda CH - but I forget how much (I emailed some of you I think, last time this came around?)...just over 100 quid plus shipping from memory.

If there's interest I could order a few and send them to a single UK location....boxed in gift wrap

I got mine from the Parts bin, but it was a while ago. Think they are getting scarce at the mo, and those that do have them are putting prices up.
NAPA do have them at sensible prices, but only ship to the US.
It is a Honda Part, but I dont think any UK models actually used the sensor.

Taken from the DIY website...
Honda (part # 36531-P07-003 - Honda Civic 1.5 3 Door, circa 1995, US, non-Californian model)

I did also try NTK UK a while ago, and they wont sell to the public??? only to main distributors or people using them for development work or something. Cant remember their excuse, but it was ridiculous, and either way, their prices were stupid too.

DIY

If someone does find a cheap supplier, or even a supplier at sensible money, I would purchase a couple.

If you live in Europe you do not have to pay any taxes.

Is this a replacement of the stock one??

David - count me in for one too (along with the wiring requirements for a MY97) Unless my brother in law can get one as he lives in Chicago

It is not a replacement part for a Subaru. It is used for the Wideband AFR for tuning purposes.

OK - I'm confirming pricing and will let you know. David - are you happy to distribute these within the UK? Makes it cheaper for International shipping if there's only one package.

As mentioned above - these sensors will *not* work with the stock ecu (output is 0-5v)...unless you buy v1.5 of the TechEdge, which has an additional 0-1v output for the ecu

Swissieland is not part of the EU For normal purchases you would need to pay VAT - but if you donate to certain charities and receive thank you gifts as a result, they're tax free

Oh ofcourse Switserland is not in the EU, all the rich ones here in Holland have an account there.

But the wideband sensor, will this work with a "normal" digital A/f meter like the Apexi pen size turbotimer??

For the 'will it work with my...' of you - it needs a special 'driver' for it, calibration doo-dads & so on. The only affordable (sub £1,000) way to make it work at all is with the TechEdge box. The box provides all the power requirements for the sensor & has the look-up tables, etc. to change the information into wideband data that can then be displayed/logged.
The sensor will not in any way hook up to a 'normal' AFR meter.

For an order of 10 I can get them at 99.50 each - this includes the local 7.6% VAT. Less than 10 is 105 each.

If I order 10 today, I'd have them tomorrow
