STi V3 Wagon started boosting @ 17psi today :)

Hi folk's
Yep the title says it all.
Usually boosts at 14-14.5psi.
The car is standard par a piston dumpvalve. The exhaust note seems deeper aswell.
Anyone know why? apart from i'm lucky

No dawes, dunno about cracked pipe Dave, thinking about it...
It occured just after 1st gear propelled me to about 8300rpm, so i bounced it off the rev limiter a few times. After that it was 17psi in every gear.
It felt lush.
