Had a new MAF fitted yesterday on my MY 99 Turbo to cure hunting on idle and big overboost problem. Has helped the hunting slightly but still got overboost in 3rd,4th and 5th. Also have scoobysport decat downpipe and Prodrive backbox.
Anyone got any ideas as this is really annoying me now.....
o2 sensor maybe?

Good point Matt.
No I don't have a boost gauge. I'm assumeing that the boost cut out is being engaged. Until the boost stops when acclerating the car is going very quick.
After reading some threads on over boosting options seem to be:
Dawes device
ECU custom remap
OEM downipe with cat refitted
Check wastegate is working properly ( will do this first of course )
Have I missed anything..............

*If* it is overboosting and your car is otherwise standard it is likely to be one of two things:
1. Overboosting due to cold air intake (is it happening first thing in the morning for example). Some different form of boost control would fix this one (change restrictor/Manual Boost Controller/Electronic Boost Controller/ECU Remap)
2. Contaminated Boost Control pipework (with Oil). Clean pipes with brake cleaner.
Get a Boost guage on the car or a Select Monitor/DeltaDash to find out what is going on, sooner rather than later!
Ta,
Matt
