After my serivice I have noticed the oil pressure idling at 2.2 - 2.3 on my Defi gauge. Is this correct.

I have changed oil and with my old oil I used to idle at 2.9/3 on the Defi gauge.

Does this seem correct.

Your oil pressure will be effected by the viscosity of oil used. Currently with Motul 300V 15W-50 I rarely have less than 3 bar when hot although in the Summer when the oil has become very hot (110 degrees c) after some hard driving and on a slow tick over it can drop to 2.6 bar. If your dealer has added very thin oil eg. 5W-40 or even thinner this will explain the reduced oil pressure, so for a start I suggest you get the dealer to confirm what oil has been used.

shell helix caused mine to idle at 2.0Bar or just over (old oil, coming up to service time)
Helix is usually what the Dealers recommend !

I stuck in Mobil 1 Motorsport and she now idles at no less than 2.5Bar.
