The best replacement coils are Bosch HEC715.
These are external mount coils that can be mounted to the chassis rails and run short leads to the spark plugs.
In Australia they are only around $50 each (about 18 pounds UK)
I have had them for over 3 years running over 20psi everyday and they still run like a champion.

Probably similar to the Bosch MEC723's that I have. These are externally mounted. Not heard of these ones though? But saying that i've only ever heard people talk about the ones I have. If they are an alternative then at least it gives people more choice
