Urgent quick dump valve fitting hose question?

Just got a blitz DV & fitted it at Dinner & bloke who sent it included a small hose which i used as per
Now this means i have still have the original small hose going from the OE recirc DV dangling arounf the engine bay! So i need to know ASAP does this need bunging up removing etc?
Please let me know caps?

Which u can clearly c wobbling around under the red wires on the left
So is this ok to leave unplugged but connected to original???????

I take it there's no damage in it being there in the mean time, ie while i drive it home?
When it's removed does that then mean the bung can be put where the OE valve was rather than the very end of what was stuck onto intercooler as can currently be seen right next to the VTA dump valve?
