I have a K & N ind kit for a MY99. The problem is with the chrome cover on the cone, it has come off.

Whats the best way to stick it back on? or is it OK to driver the car without the chrome cover. I assume its only there for show purposes.

cheers

Mine dropped off a while ago, and I couldn't get it to stick, so left it of. As the logo is also on the black plastic end, guess it is only for show

I've stuck them back on with silicone rubber after giving chrome/rubber a good clean
