Question

Just wondered. Not sumin kud even contemplate affording now or probably in near future but looking at getting type R version 4 or 5 where i note many people have changed final ratio of 5th gear since it's geared so low down as standard etc (different with V limited?)
Anyway back on track how easy (read expensive) wood it b 2 stick sum sort of (from bug eyed un?) 6 speed box in the old classic style scoob?
I guess/presume it wood b a fair wack on the ole ££ front but was a bit intreged
Si (skint but saving lol)

Ask again in a while, David Wallis is doing this at the moment, (apparently) so we'll see how he gets on.

Question

Now that is guna b a beast m8 Obviously yers if far from standard anyhow but does the STi7 6 speed effectively just slot into place as it were or is it far more complicated than that from a size etc point of view?

Reverse is selected by a cable.. the linkage is different..

The propshaft needs to be shortened (or use an impreza auto one)

the rear diff needs to be 3.9:1 as well

UK and Jap boxes are different..

Box mounting points are supposed to be the same...

erm.. erm.. oh and its huge.
