Question

We've seen quite a few ECU's discussed on here in the last few years, but I've never seen any info about Magneti Marelli.

I do know they do make ECU's and I'm fairly sure the Peugeot WRC cars are equipped with these.

Has anybody experimented with them, or are they out of reach price wise ?

Cool

You might get some useful info asking the ford RS boys... I believe at least some of the cossies run Magneti marelli stuff as standard, and they will certainly be able to remap them. I have recently seen a website that sells the MM Ecus of various levels... they range from not bad to bloody extortionate but extremely flexible.
