Gah! things seems to have gone from bad to worse in terms of boost levels this W/E.

I've replaced pretty much all the tubeing relating to the boost controll system with small bose silicon hose. Also cleaned and sealed (with silicon grase) most of the under bonnet connectors in an attempt to trouble shoot previous low(ish) boost problems.

Now - to my utter dismay - i'monly getting base boost (.7 bar) meaning for some reason my boost controll solenoid is not opeiing at all.

I've checked ECU fault codes and no fault returned - also tested in diagnostic mode - boost controll solenoid functioning fine.

Anyone have any ideas on what may be causing my symtoms bar the obvious disconnected hose / connector (I'm pretty sure this would show up as a sensor fault of some kind and I've checked thoroughly....)

Assuming you have a 2 port boost solenoid do you still have the restrictor in the hose from the turbo to the T-piece feeding the boost solenoid? Without that the boost solenoid wont have control of the wastgate actuator pressure and you'll be stuck at base boost.

What does the restrictor look like? - is it the thing that looks like an in-line filter? - if so yes it's still installed.

BTW - yes it's the 2 port solenoid...
