im looking to sort out my 97 turbo and ive been reading a lot about the benefits and strengths of the ae800 ecu.. will this work in my MY? if so is it worthwhile, or is there a better way to go with this model? (its the one with black dials if that helps). i note that theres one for sale at the mo on here so if its the way forward i can get right on it.

Would it just be a plug in and go job? I have done a huge search and loads of reading on the matter, but im not finding anything helpful for my MY. kim keen to do it as ive just sold a 94 wrx and this 97 seems rubbish in comparison.

any help'd be appreciated. I know that John Banks is god in these matters but it doesnt look if he can do anything for any cars as old as mine. Any suggestions anyone (including John if you can help mate)

best wishes,
B.
